We're looking for a Business Analyst with a strong understanding of IT and digital technology as this role is all about delivering business benefit through IT and digital solutions.
As Business Analyst, you'll be working within a full stack development environment (PHP, Laravel, Python, JavaScript, Node, React, Oracle, Linus, SQL, AWS) and your previous experience will include knowledge of the full software development lifecycle / SDLC to introduce new technologies, software and systems to the business. We're looking for a Business Analyst who has worked for software engineers or software developers who can help input into the design and architect of software systems and technical solutions, and then develop the solutions at some point into your career within this organisation. There are a range of projects to be designed and delivered. A keen interest in technology and what new technology could do to help projects is essential.
The scope of this role is wide and offers genuine opportunity to help shape the roadmap for the business and make significant, and impactful contributions as the Business Analyst.
Technical understanding is strongly preferred. This understanding could be graduate experience, it does not necessarily have to be commercial, and could cover PHP, Oracle, SQL and ideally Linux, across the full software development lifecycle / SDLC. Technical solutions will span the entire estate so expect to be working with ERP, CRM, WMS and digital platforms.
This new role includes Business Process Mapping, and with time, training and experience, will include the creation and provision of a range of technical solutions, across ERP, CRM, WMS Software and digital. Skills such as programming knowledge using some / combination of full stack web development, PHP, Laravel, python, ruby, JavaScript, Node, React, Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL, Linux, Google BigQuery SQL would be desirable.
A broad understanding of Microsoft and Windows technologies would be an advantage, but not essential.
This exciting new role will suit a forward-thinking individual who has had exposure to many technologies to facilitate solving business process-related issues.
Paramount, is that you must show the willingness to learn or be instrumental in introducing new technologies and processes into the business to drive efficiencies, and enhance performance / sales or cost reduction.
You should be comfortable working under your initiative, drawing on expertise from either within the business functions or 3rd party support. An engaging personality is a must, as many of the projects will be cradle to grave implementations.
The skill sets required for this job will continue to evolve, as new business processes are challenged and changed, if you can therefore demonstrate transferable skills please apply.
This role has the potential to develop into full ownership of the software and systems side as Software or Solutions Architect.
