IT transformation is happening at a rapid pace with our market leading client. We’re looking for an Windows Lead Design Engineer / Infrastructure Architect to aid in the design of low-level designs and implement systems to support the enterprise infrastructure.
As Infrastructure Architect, you’ll be analysing and assessing current systems comprising Microsoft / windows stack, lead the design and review processes for new systems as well as develop and document proposed technical designs for new solutions.
You’ll have experience of designing infrastructure solutions within both VMware virtualised and thin client environments, led complex technical design and review/recommend/provide best practice guidance on infrastructure improvements and proposals. This role will involve owning solution architecture and providing technical design leadership.
Windows Design Engineer / Infrastructure Architecture environment within a windows environment in needed. Knowledge of Linux and Unix preferred as well as VMware and virtualisation technologies and SANS.
Hybrid working, office is West Midlands, commutable from Telford, Cannock, Shropshire, Wolverhampton, Shropshire, Staffs, Wolverhampton, Walsall and much of the West Midlands and Staffordshire area.
