We have an opportunity for an IT Manager with a passion for hands-on work within a full stack Microsoft environment.
You could already be working as a hands-on IT Manager, or as an Engineer looking for the first steps into IT operational management whilst retaining your technical expertise. Our client is open to both!
This role will involve 3rd line support across the tech stack – Microsoft Windows Server, 365, Active Directory etc, VMWare and Cisco networking – troubleshooting and resolving complex issues. Operational management of the IT Department will come in the form of managing IT technical projects such as windows file server migrations, disaster recovery as a service, back up as a service etc plus any other opportunities you spot for innovation.
You’ll day to day manage a small team as well as 3rd party supplier relationships including an MSP provider as well as playing a pivotal role in ensuring all systems operate flawlessly.

Based near Alfreton, Derbyshire.
Onsite for the first 6 weeks, some flexibility for 2 days per week remote working afterwards.
