Product Manager with a strong background in agile product and software development methodologies, especially SCRUM, required to take ownership of the product roadmap for our client.

We’re seeking a skilled Product Manager to join our client and play a pivotal role in shaping their future by driving the success of their products and technology platforms.  This encompasses new products, new technology platforms and enhancements to legacy platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your deep understanding of agile principles, specifically SCRUM, to drive the development and delivery of exceptional products.
  • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and stakeholders, to achieve project goals and meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define product vision, and prioritize product backlogs.
  • Break down complex problems into actionable tasks and user stories, ensuring effective sprint planning and execution.
  • Actively participate in sprint ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to facilitate transparent communication and continuous improvement.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance, collecting feedback and leveraging data to drive data-driven decision making.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, emerging technologies, and best practices in agile product management, contributing to the growth and evolution of our processes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a technology-driven environment, with a strong emphasis on agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and ability to seamlessly integrate agile principles into product planning and execution.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring that products are delivered on time and within scope. Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
  • Agile or SCRUM certifications are a plus.

To £70,000.  Based Cheshire, hybrid working pattern.
