- Senior Data Solutions Designer - Permanent - West Midlands/Kent - Hybrid working -
We’re looking for a skilled Senior Data Solutions Designer to design and implement effective data solutions for our financial services client. As a Senior Data Solutions Designer, you’ll work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient data solutions. Your main responsibility will be to design, develop and optimise data architecture, data models and data integration processes, being a Data Champion and making the most of the data resources available.
You’ll need:
- 3 years’ strong experience of data related activities e.g. analysis/data management/analytics
- 3 years’ experience of stakeholder engagement: Interacting with people across both business and IT domains to elicit requirements
- 2 years’ experience of providing Data Analysis services e.g. as a Data Analyst
- 5 years previous experience in working with data for creation of business value in a technology role
- 3 years previous experience (or comparable) working with Data Software/Technology delivery
- 3 years previous experience (or comparable) working in Financial Services specifically within Mortgages and Savings
As well as the following skills:
- Proven passion for data is essential and a strong drive for results
- Ability to query and interrogate data using languages such as SQL
- Robust evidence of delivering data analysis and solutions
- Good interpersonal, influencing and relationship management
- Extremely meticulous in approach to work with outstanding attention to detail
- A quick learner and an ability to work with little or no supervision
- A team player with an ability to function in a setting with tight deadlines
- A commercial outlook, able to relate data initiatives to business value
