Senior PMO Analyst required for a fast-paced company running a large programme of transformation and growth projects within the portfolio.
You will support the Head of Projects and will be responsible for managing the project assurance around a portfolio of projects and programmes. Working closely with Project Managers, with your guidance they will remain on track with project milestones and project deliverables whilst driving quality.
With strong experience of creating, embedding and improving project methodology and standards, as well as processes and controls, you will play a key part in maturing the project office so your ideas will be listened to, and your own initiatives encouraged. We are seeking a person who can spot challenges, investigate projects and provide PMO solutions that can deliver quality assurance to projects.
Career progression is fantastic with options for moving upwards into management or moves into Project Management encouraged.
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as well as a proven track record of managing, tracking and reporting on project and portfolio deliverables. The ability to build good relationships with key stakeholders is also key as well as being able to influence and encourage adaption of your new quality and change governance initiatives. Exceptional organisational skills are needed as well as the ability to be able to work within a fast-paced environment and adapt to suit business requirements.
Experience of working within both waterfall and agile project and PMO environments is preferred. Technical knowledge of MS project online or other technologies used to track benefits, financial tracking, risk and issue management, resource management etc is also needed.
Salary range £37,000 to £43,000 plus bonus, 28 days holiday, good pension, healthcare, medical and other excellent perks, and benefits.
This position is commutable via the M6 motorway and places such as Wolverhampton, Cannock, Stafford, Telford, Dudley, West Bromwich, Shrewsbury, Walsall, Stourbridge and much of Birmingham and the West Midlands.
