Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Location: Lancashire, UK (Hybrid - Minimum 2 Days Per Week Onsite)
Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary - £60,000-65,000

Our client is a  leading international organisation dedicated to providing ethical, best practice healthcare, aiming to improve the working lives of many. As part of their ambitious growth plans, they are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join the IT Leadership team.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will report to the CIO/IT Director and play a pivotal role in delivering scalable HR, Finance, and Procurement solutions. You will lead both technology and business colleagues, as well as selected third parties, to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the agreed scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted technology advisor for Finance, Procurement, HR, and Payroll functions.
  • Lead the development of business cases and collaborate on RFI/RFP processes for vendor selection.
  • Drive and manage the delivery of technology solutions.
  • Develop relationships with third-party implementation partners to ensure cost-effective service delivery.
  • Proactively manage risks related to systems and infrastructure.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for integration and automation.
  • Design and deliver technology solutions within agreed budgets and timelines.
  • Support business impact assessments and change management.
  • Provide technical leadership and collaborate with Solution Architects.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all solutions.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in ERP solution implementations.
  • Accredited or working towards a recognized project management qualification (Prince 2 or PMI).
  • Proven experience in business case development.
  • Strong background in Finance, Procurement, HR, and Payroll systems.
  • Ideally, working knowledge of Acumatica Financials, project accounting, and FP&A solutions.
  • Experience with real-time system integration and cloud-based solutions.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and lead diverse teams.
  • Experience with finance systems optimization.
  • Proven success in delivering technology solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Management of project budgets and third-party technology partners.
