Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of all project phases, from initiation through to closure.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and influence group strategies to meet UK requirements while maintaining regional alignment.
  • Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines to ensure milestones are achieved.
  • Coach and mentor a small team of BA's and PM's, fostering a culture of delivery excellence.
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams including consultants, developers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Apply industry best practices, implementing tailored project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans.
  • Ensure quality control standards are met and all deliverables align with industry standards.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders, maintaining transparency.
  • Manage scope, timeline, and budget changes effectively, ensuring project success.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, preferably within retail, or systems sectors.
  • Strong technical background with experience in system integration, configuration, and customisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects with excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, and methodologies like Agile or Waterfall.
  • Experience working in international project environments and collaborating across teams.
  • Certifications such as APM or similar are a plus.
