Software Developer – Permanent – Surrey – Hybrid
We’re working with an established and growing organisation based in Surrey that is looking to add a Software Developer to its development team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a developer with around 2-3 years of commercial experience who enjoys working across the full software development lifecycle and wants exposure to a broad range of technologies and projects.
The role offers the chance to work on both front and back-end development, build and enhance web-based applications, develop system integrations, and work extensively with APIs to connect internal and third-party platforms. You’ll be joining a collaborative team environment where you’ll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, develop your technical skills, and take ownership of your work.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing, developing and maintaining web-based applications
- Building and supporting integrations between internal and external systems
- Developing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Working across both front-end and back-end development tasks
- Troubleshooting issues and providing enhancements to existing applications
- Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements
- Contributing to technical discussions, code reviews and best practice initiatives
We’re interested in speaking with developers who have:
- Around 2-3 years of commercial software development experience
- Experience developing web applications
- Exposure to both front-end and back-end technologies (.Net, React, Blazor)
- Experience working with APIs and system integrations
- Understanding of software development best practices and version control
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
Desirable experience:
- Cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- CI/CD and DevOps practices
