What you will be doing…

Interesting and varied opportunity to work within application support as a Level 2 Application Support Analyst, the primary objective being to “Keep the lights on” by ensuring the business has stable systems from a day to day operational perspective.

The role will require in-depth understanding of the applications configuration and setup to enable the resolution of application support queries, environment related issues and understanding, identifying and delivering business change needs. You will become a subject matter expert across multiple applications and third party systems.

The role will also involve a good variety of BAU and project support, monitoring of ticket queues, providing support for project releases, code fixes, ITIL change and release principles, liaising with 3rd party suppliers and testing teams.

What you’ll need…

  • 2 years previous experience working as a 2nd line application support analyst - Dealing with front end applications is essential.
  • 2 years previous experience working within the Mortgage Sector or other Financial Services is desirable
  • 2 years previous experience working within a Software Supplier is desirable.
  • Proven experience working in an IT application support environment providing support and problem analysis / resolution
  • Understanding of software / hardware and ability to find solutions to issues
  • ITIL Foundation certificate or working knowledge of ITIL best practice framework
  • Intermediate  level skills in Windows server 2008 / 2012 MS SQL Server experience
  • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel are essential
