This well-established business is on a huge growth curve and investing significantly in their tech and business systems.  As such we are looking for a Systems Implementation Manager to help them on their journey of further and future development of their WMS, ERP and TMS systems.

The role is to deliver systems related implementations ensuring that all aspects of these projects are managed from initial specification through to stabilisation and ongoing review.  Developing strategy, mid & short term plans for implementation of systems and aligning the business to timelines & deliverables is also core to the role

You'll be responsible for the delivery of various system related implementations and be responsible for the full implementation lifecycle from business requirements capture, functional specs, test phase, implementation, and support. 

Previous experience of managing a variety of e-com and omni channel environments is needed with experience of WMS, ERP and ideally TMS solutions.

Taking ownership for systems and their future development is key so a strategic view will be needed as part of this role, as will liaising with key stakeholders across the business.

As well as previous warehouse management system rollout / implementation experience, other skills/ experiences should include:

  • Logistics, warehouse, supply chain, 3PL or Pure Play background
  • Project Management experience with Prince 2 or similar experience
  • Technical experience including WMS or supply chain systems such Manhattan, Infor, JDA WMS, Softeon or Blue Yonder
  • Transportation management system experience (TMS), order management, order fulfilment system knowledge would be a nice to have ERP
  • Building report dashboards within Power BI and using other Microsoft power apps to be able to gain insights through data and MI would be desirable
  • E-com and omni channel environment experience
  • Understanding of methodologies such as Six Sigma and LEAN to help with continuous improvement, best practice, risk management, control plans etc would be desirable
  • 3PL experience
  • Experience of Start-up environments including systems & infrastructure design and installation

Based near Wigan, this position is easily commutable from the M6 motorway network, much of Greater Manchester, St Helens, Runcorn and Lancashire.
